Jeanette's story is a tragic one. When he was just a small child, his entire village was brutally slaughtered by a very evil man. He would have fell victim to this brutal massacre, but he ran away like a sissy. Jeanette spent most of his life doing freelance jobs like saving towns from monsters and other such horrible, horrible creatures in hope that he will find the person that destroyed his village and slay them. However, Jeanette began to question his existence. The routine of slaughtering monsters was no longer fulfilling. He figured that he would never find the person he was seeking by randomly killing monsters. In addition, he wanted something more out of life... He needed a friend. Because of his appearance, many people are afraid of Jeanette, and despite Jeanette's horrible past and depressing present and not-so-sure future, he always managed to maintain a positive attitude towards life. On the inside, anyway. While passing through City Town, Jeanette happened to see Habib's picture on the news. He immediately thought "That is the chosen one!!" He set out to find the chosen one, and ended up finding Lucy, whom he thinks is Habib.
Indie's Inspiration for Jeanette: He started out as a random doodle of mine, that I became very attached to. I ended up giving him a name and a personality and then I decided to stick him in Wilfredo's Odyssey. I put him on the team with Lucy because they were so different. Lucy is always very angry and Jeanette is always very happy. It's interesting to see how they react to each other.
